Help us celebrate Jeannine Hone, our April 2020 teacher of the month!
Carlson Injury Law first teacher of the month award goes to a very deserving special education teacher at Syracuse Arts Academy North in Syracuse, Utah. Jeannine was nominated by principal Judy Nixon – thank you, Judy!
Here are Judy’s warm word of appreciation and recognition for Jeannine:
“Imagine a teacher who is required to define and subscribe individual learning plans for every child that she teaches. Add to this teacher never ever burning out – constantly learning herself. This is Jeannine Hone, is currently a Special Education teacher at Syracuse Arts Academy North.
“The students adore Jeannine as she strives to help them with both their emotional and academic needs.”
Principal Judy Nixon
Jeannine monitors 25 plus students in grades fourth through sixth as well as teaches and monitors three Special Education tutors that work with the students as well.
She continually evaluates her teaching approaches to determine if students are growing academically. Her dedication is noteworthy. Jeannine strives daily in building relationships with the teachers and staff. Her commitment to students, and the job is above and beyond notable. During the 2019-20 school year, Jeannine had surgery and instead of taking the time she should have taken, she showed up with a knee scooter so that she could continue to support her students. The students adore Jeannine as she strives to help them with both their emotional and academic needs.”
Thank you, Jeannine!
At Carlson Injury Law, our own children have benefitted from these quiet champions of education. Please join us in celebrating them by nominating your teacher today.
